Insurance Information

At Augusta's Smiling Dental Center, we make every effort to provide you with the finest care and the most convenient financial options.  To accomplish this, we work with you to maximize your dental insurance benefits for procedures that are covered. 

Dr. Martin C. Comella is a participating provider with the following dental insurance companies: MetLife and United Concordia.   Any payment made by your insurance carrier is credited to your account; whatever is left over is the patient's responsibility.  Please understand that if your insurance pays less than the amount that is estimated in your dental treatment plan that is given, you are still responsible for that remaining balance. 

All patient portions and/or insurance patient portions are estimates provided as a courtesy.  Patients that carry a dental insurance policy are responsible for a yearly deductible, your estimated patient portion and the balance that is not paid by your insurance carrier.  If during the same calendar year, you are referred to another dentist for other dental treatment, and your treatment is not completed in this office, your estimated patient portions are going to change.
